The first place i go when i wake up in the morning, and the last before i go to bed. I like to classify my living space as somewhat minimal. Therefore, this little corner serves as a home for not only my beauty necessities (makeup, hair, skincare) but for all of my jewelry and accessories as well. This was definitely a DIY project. I had a specific vision in mind when curating this section of my space, and couldn’t find any one piece or set up that did it for me. The key players to note are 1) the main piece which is actually one of those old school entertainment centers for tv/vhs tapes. I found this for almost nothing at a local thrift store in perfect condition. 2) the mirror, which I wanted large enough and placed strategically for full body outfit review. The gold vintage frame was a must. 3) the lighting, I can thank my sweet grandparents for gifting to me and helping me install. You can find multiple different sizes and frames at your local hardware store (like Menard’s) This one in particular was originally an ugly brown color but saw potential in the shape of the frame, so I spray painted it gold. The entire project ended up costing less than $60.
